Shake your W8 with Pure Vibes Fitness


Power plate combined with TRX and Kettle Bells: sounds like a great idea. Does working out on a vibrating plate makes you burn calories and tone muscles in a fraction of the time of a regular workout? We went to check it out and got the chance to try out a Power 3 class with Jerry at Pure Vibes Fitness

Power 3 is an instructor-led, 45-minute workout where participants go through a variety of basic exercise at 60 seconds a piece on the Power Plate. The instruction is more of a personal training session than a fitness class. From the moment it was switched on we realised that we were in for a workout a bit more challenging than what we anticipated…and indeed by the end of the session we were sweating and panting more that your basic sculpt class. The real burner was doing sit ups while wearing the wrist cuffs and shaking around. Vibrating plates work! Who knew?
